Questions

Please answer the following questions in a format of your choice, whether that be a slide deck, a written document, a short video or something else.  If you are sharing a written response, please aim to keep each answer to within 100-200 words as a guide. If you are sharing a video, 2-4 minutes is recommended.

Q1.

What attracted you to the Turley programme and your selected field in the built environment?

Q2.

How have your experiences, skills and perspectives helped to prepare your for this role?

Q3.

Tell us about a challenge facing the built environment now or in the near future and how you think this might affect a Consultancy like Turley?

In responding to the questions, make use of the resources that are available to you.  Talk to colleagues or university contacts.  Take a look at the Turley website and the Royal Town Planning Institute website for ideas, as well as BBC news, and the websites of other organisations working in the built environment sector.  Following relevant organisations on LinkedIn can also be valuable in understanding the sector and knowing what’s happening.

What our co-owners think

Thomas Feild, Assistant Planner

At Turley, there is a real emphasis on enabling graduates to gain early experience from a variety of projects. It is so rewarding for me to look back at what I have been involved in during my first year here, and how much I have learnt each day from the supportive and invested team.

Ffion Middleton, Senior Planner

After completing my dissertation on women’s safety in public spaces, I have been able to present to the Leadership Team and work with other co-owners to set up an internal group to look at issues of gender inclusivity in the built environment. Although I am at the beginning of my career, I am consistently supported and encouraged by my co-owners .
